Nominations for Outstanding Graduate Teaching Award Sought: The Graduate and Professional Student Government Association (GPSGA) would like to recognize one outstanding graduate teaching assistant with a $350 cash prize and a certificate to be presented during Graduate Student Appreciation Week.
Master's and doctoral student applicants must be enrolled as a graduate student in the current academic year and have a minimum grade point average of 3.5.
Nomination Procedures
Nominations of master's and doctoral students may be initiated by any faculty member, administrator, or graduate student (including self nominations) and should include the following items:
Curriculum vitae/resume including name, major, campus address, e-mail address, home phone number, major advisor, and list of teaching and mentoring activities, leadership activities, scholastic achievements, professional involvement, and research accomplishments. OSU transcript showing overall GPA. This can be either an official transcript from the registrar’s office or an unofficial transcript from SIS website.
Three letters of nomination/recommendation. Each of these must be provided in a sealed envelope signed across the seal by the person providing the letter.
Award Deadlines and Timeline

Nomination packages including all materials are due April 1st, 2019 by 5:00 PM and should be dropped off at the GPSGA office. All application materials (including letters of recommendation) must be dropped off as a single package. The GPSGA office is located at: 211N Student Union


Winners in each category will be notified via email after the committee makes a decision (Roughly 1 week after the due date). The winners in each category will be announced during Graduate Student Appreciation Week and presented with a certificate.
