In order to enhance the competitiveness of graduate student financial support packages, Oklahoma State University has formed a central administration; the Graduate Student Support issues Task Force (GSSI) with representative membership across OSU. The major support areas for graduate student investigated are graduate student stipends and tuition waivers. There are a number of bills introduced in the US House and Senate each year that affect graduate and professional  students.  These bills represent issues or legislation that NAGPS has been following throughout 2012. Since new bills will be introduced in the new 2013 Congress, we plan to follow and post any new legislation that may be of interest to graduate and professional students.  Read more about Loans, Funding, Campus Safety, STEM, Open Access
